# Modern Light Company Website: https://modernlight.uk > Chandeliers, pendants, wall lights, bathroom vanity lights and solar garden lighting, delivered across the UK. Modern Light Company sells home lighting online in the United Kingdom. The range covers four chandeliers (a six-light wrought iron design in aged black or bronze at 53cm; a nine-light raindrop crystal at 71cm; a five-light two-tier modern crystal on a black iron frame at 54.9cm, supplied with its bulbs; and a six-light tiered farmhouse crystal at 50cm on an antique brass crown); ceiling lights including a 90cm four-light kitchen island bar in wood and matte black with four selectable drop heights, and a two-light flush mount 33cm across and only 14cm deep that is approved for damp locations; pendant lights including a black metal caged pendant on a cord adjustable to 133cm and a six-globe fitting 70cm across in light grey glass; wall lights including a clear glass cylinder sconce bar in 2, 4 or 6 light lengths from 35cm to 115cm that mounts facing up or down, a dimmable swing arm sconce with a rotary knob on the backplate and a 6W LED bulb included, and a pair of up-and-down LED sconces in acrylic and aluminium sold two to a box; bathroom lighting including a 61cm IP44 LED vanity bar at 1250 lumens and a matte black LED vanity light in 2, 4 and 6 light sizes from 32cm to 104.5cm reaching 2340 lumens; and outdoor lighting, almost all of it solar, including stainless steel path lights, a 20-LED spotlight with an independently tilting panel, flush driveway lights rated to three tonnes in packs of four, a 14.6 metre festoon strand with fifteen sockets and sixteen bulbs, an eight-piece decorative garden light set, and two copper-wire firework lights with a twinkling mode. Two things are stated on the product pages rather than left to inference. The decorative solar garden lights produce about 3 lumens each, which the manufacturer itself describes as possibly not bright enough to light by, so they are sold as decoration rather than as path lighting. And a fitting with no IP rating is not for a bathroom whatever a supplier listing suggests: only the bathroom vanity light and the black vanity light are built for bathroom air, and UK bathroom zoning still applies to both. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Delivery is UK wide. Standard delivery is free on orders of £100 or more and otherwise a flat £30; express delivery costs £30 on ANY order, including orders over the free threshold, because it is a paid upgrade. Orders arrive in 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time. Payment is by card (Stripe) or PayPal. Returns: everything sold here is a stock item, so the statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 applies to all of it, plus a further 14 days to send the goods back. Nothing on this site is made to the customer's specification. On top of that the store accepts returns for 15 days from purchase where the item is unused and in its original packaging. Rights for faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply as well and are unaffected.
