Why this range, and why these products
Lighting is the part of a room people notice last and feel first. A room with one bright ceiling light in the middle of it is lit, and it is also flat, shadowy in the corners and unflattering to everybody in it.
So the range is put together around the three layers a room actually needs: something overhead for general light, something at the wall or the table for reading and working, and something aimed for the pieces worth looking at.
Chosen for the room, not the catalogue
The range is deliberately narrow. Four chandeliers rather than forty, because the useful decisions are size, finish and how far it hangs, and four covers those. A vanity bar in three lengths, because the only question that matters at a mirror is how wide it is. Outdoor lighting that is almost all solar, because a wired garden light means a trench and an electrician.
Being straight about what things do
Every figure on this site is the manufacturer's, and we say what it applies to. A 50,000 hour LED rating is a statement about a lamp, not a promise about a light fitting. An IP44 rating means a fitting can live in bathroom air, not that it can be sprayed. Three lumens is decoration and we say so on the page, even though it is not the word that sells a garden light. Where a fitting has no IP rating, we say to keep it out of a bathroom, whatever the supplier's own listing suggests.
How we work
We are an online shop with no physical premises, which is how the prices stay where they are. You order on this site, pay by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and we ship across the UK. Standard delivery is free on orders of £100 or more, and a flat £30 under that. Express delivery is available on any order for £30, and orders arrive 5-7 days after a 24-48 hour handling time.

Sized, not guessed
Every product page carries the dimension that decides it: frame width, bar length, chain drop or strand length.
Bulbs stated plainly
We say which fitting a light takes, how many it needs, and whether the bulbs are in the box. Three of ours include them.
Outdoor means solar
Almost all the outdoor range is solar, so there is no trench, no cable and no electrician to book.

No, we sell online and ship across the UK.

Where does the stock come from?
A mix of our own warehoused stock and supplier fulfilled lines. Either way the order comes from us and we handle it.
Who do I speak to if something goes wrong?

Do you do wholesale?
Yes, there is a wholesale page for quotes on bulk and trade orders.
Do you supply hotels, developers and fit-out contractors?
Yes, regularly. Vanity lights, flush mounts and wall sconces are the lines they buy most.
Why does the site say what some products are not for?
Because it is easy to let a customer assume the wrong thing. A fitting with no IP rating does not belong in a bathroom, and a 3 lumen garden light will not light a path. We would rather lose the sale.
Are your specifications yours or the manufacturer's?
The manufacturer's, and we say what each figure applies to. A 50,000 hour rating is about a lamp, not about a light fitting.
Why do some voltages say 110V?
Because that is what the manufacturer states for those fittings. We publish it rather than quietly changing it, and we say on the page to have an electrician confirm the fitting suits the UK 230V supply before commissioning it.
